Learning & Teaching Support Unit (LTSU)
The Learning & Teaching Support Unit (LTSU) is a specialist team of experts in learning and teaching with technology who support the School of Arts and Humanities.
You can contact the team at aah.ltsu@ntu.ac.uk
The LTSU:
- gives advice, training and guidance on effective practice around online, blended and flexible learning. We assist our colleagues with regular ASK drop-in sessions, and offer support on resilient digital pedagogies, the use of digital tools and resource and content development, as well as advising on student engagement and accessible & inclusive design.
- provides local subject-specific support, whilst aligning with University policies and requirements. We support the development of digital assessment, offering one to one advice and colleague training sessions on the use of NOW assessment tools and rubrics.
- leads on the School strategic and operational use of Teams, NOW and PebblePad, and offers staff support and development sessions to develop colleagues’ use of these tools and others the university supports.
- Communicates and collaborates with colleagues, and shares practice in regular blog posts about projects from the School, so our blog is a good place to find inspiration, or information on what’s happening now.
The framework above shows these main areas of focus, demonstrating our interlinked goals of research & innovation, support & development, and collaboration & advice.
